My good friend Michael Jacobs captured this video of the Honey.Moon.Tree. performance I took part in at this year’s Noise Pop festival on Feb. 27th. Says Michael:

“Sweet lunar arboreal! This is not a hologram! This is not an optical illusion! This is Honey.Moon.Tree, Live! at Cafe Du Nord in the synchroniCity of San Francisco, ca. 2008. The band members have traveled from different corners in time to be (t)here. Some are from the forties, fifties and sixties. Others are from the future. The instruments are handmade out of old bicycle parts and chicken bones. Everyone is wearing wigs. Their shoes are at least a size too big. The drummer isn’t wearing any pants. These employed techniques are a form of method musicianship. If you can figure out which of the above mentioned statements are true, you stand the chance to stand the test of time. You’ll be surprised.”

1. if you’re thinking
2. all you need
3. mobius’s trip
4. where the animals go?
5. bottom of the ocean
